The company provides fast product turnaround, low minimum quantity commitments and better payment terms for their garments than their off-shore competition. Although highly regarded by their customers for quality and service, they knew they were generally only offered the smaller orders. The larger, more profitable orders were contracted to the competition.  

THEIR GOAL  To change how they were perceived by existing, as well as prospective, customers AND SECURE THE LARGE, PROFITABLE ORDERS!

Initially, our client contacted us with a request for our help in developing and executing a direct mail letter targeting a list of current and prospective customers. Establishing new business with as few as 4 of these larger companies could more than triple revenue long-term. They intended to communicate a strong "Why you should do business with us" message.

This family owned manufacturer has built a large, high-tech facility, employs a skilled staff and enjoys an excellent industry reputation. The 40 year old company, however, had not established a true corporate image or company brand.  

THE STRATEGIC SOLUTION We met at length with the company principals, toured the facility, studied their customers and researched their competition.

THE LOGO  As a team we concluded that the first step was to design a corporate signature logo. SDA developed a logo that broadly branded the corporation and unified every element of the company's communication media. We provided our client with the digital files for all marketing applications including the web, billboard, print and corporate apparel.

THE.com  Next, SDA secured the companyname.com.  The .com domain provided a tool that helped convey the message that our client was an established company.

u Commercial customers and consumers routinely refer to the internet to initially determine the legitimacy and competency of a company. For our client, not having a website was clearly a road-block in their establishing a notable presence in their marketplace.

u We developed and launched their new website incorporating the newly created logo and corporate brand. The site functioned initially as a full-color, inexpensive, always up-to-date, interactive "brochure". As the company's business expanded, automated data collection and interactive features were added.  A web presence was key in projecting the company's true capabilities.

u To maximize our client's upcoming mass marketing letter, we needed to provide a response vehicle by which a prospective customer could quickly and easily reply to the mailing. By establishing the new website and name@companyname.com email accounts, as well a providing interactive forms on the website, respondents had several options for action.

THE MARKETING LETTER  SDA recommended making their introductory contact a memorable one. The defined target market was categorized into small, managed quantities to allow for intense sales follow-up. A thoroughly personalized yet brief  letter was included with a Request for Quote form (which could be mailed or faxed back), web and email response information and fabric samples were included in the mailing.

The mailing impacted with stunning results! ... which we discovered when our excited client temporarily stalled the next mailing release while they satisfied initial response requests.
